The New Era of Flagship Phones: OPPO Find X8 Series

OPPO India made headlines with the launch of its latest flagship lineup, the Find X8 Series, on November 21, 2024. The much-anticipated series includes two models: the Find X8 Pro and the standard Find X8. These phones mark the debut of the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, a 3nm chip that promises a remarkable 40% improvement in power efficiency compared to its predecessors.

Both devices come pre-installed with ColorOS 15, built on Android 15, which brings a host of AI-driven features to enhance both photography and productivity. Among these are AI Clarity Enhance and AI Reflection Remover for photography, as well as AI Summary and AI Writer for those who need to get work done on the go.

Stunning Camera Capabilities

The camera setups on these flagship devices are bound to excite photography enthusiasts. The Pro model boasts a quad-camera arrangement, including a 50MP Sony LYT808 main sensor that promises exceptional image quality. It’s complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, and an impressive 50MP 6x periscope telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the standard Find X8 retains all but the periscope lens, offering a more streamlined but still highly capable photography experience.

Both phones feature ProXDR displays designed to enhance viewing experiences with peak brightness levels topping 4500 nits and 2160Hz PWM dimming, ensuring vibrant colors and reduced eye strain. The ultra-narrow bezels add to the sleek design, measuring just 1.45mm on the X8 and slightly wider at 1.9mm on the Pro.

Under the hood, the devices pack powerful batteries—5910mAh for the Pro and 5630mAh for the standard model. Both support 80W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, meaning users won't be tethered to outlets for long. Plus, with IP68/IP69 ratings, these phones are equipped to handle dust and water challenges, making them ideal for everyday adventures.

The price tags start at ₹69,999 for the standard model, escalating to ₹99,999 for the Pro variant. Both models meeting different needs depending on your tech appetite. Enhanced offers sweeten the deal for early adopters, including 10% cashback for selected bank cards, extended warranties for pre-orders, exchange offers, and the temptation of zero-down monthly payment options. Availability began on December 3 through OPPO stores, Flipkart, and various retail outlets, making it easy for potential buyers to get their hands on the latest tech.
